School Registry
Verified, geo-referenced database of schools across all states and LGAs with detailed institutional profiles.
Real-time security coordination, SVI scoring, and incident intelligence — unified across all 36 states and the FCT.
About the Platform
NSS-ICIS is operated by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to support the Safe Schools Initiative — providing real-time school vulnerability scoring, formation-level readiness tracking, and a searchable national registry of schools, security assessments, and reported incidents.
By centralising intelligence data, the NSCDC can coordinate resources, monitor risk zones through the SVI, assign security formations, and respond swiftly to threats — protecting every child's right to learn safely.

Simple Process
Four simple steps — school details, consent, email verification for the focal person, then your slip.
Enter the school's details plus the designated registrar or contact person (name, email, phone). That person becomes the school focal person in the portal.
Review the data notice, confirm consent, and submit. You'll see your registration token and a confirmation for the school phone number used for slip retrieval.
The focal person gets a verification message with a link to set their password (for new accounts), then signs in to manage the school profile.
Use the school phone number and token to retrieve and print your official NSCDC acknowledgement slip at any time.
For Schools
Registration is free and open to all primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Join the national safe-schools network and help the NSCDC protect students and staff.
