An Integrated Command & Intelligence Platform for School Security
The National Safe School — Integrated Command & Intelligence System (NSS-ICIS) is an intelligence-driven security platform maintained by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
It provides a searchable, verified national registry of primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions — capturing each school's location, ownership, security checklist, NSCDC-assigned officers, and reported incidents. The platform features automated School Vulnerability Index (SVI) scoring, configurable risk weights, security formation tracking, and geo-located incident mapping for real-time situational awareness.
The system enables state commands and national headquarters to monitor real-time security situations, allocate resources efficiently, and generate evidence-based reports to government and policy stakeholders.
